Harnessing the Potential of Symbiotic Endophytic Fungi and Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria to Enhance Soil Quality in Saline Soils

چکیده

Soil salinity is one of the most important abiotic stresses limiting crop growth and production worldwide. Some microorganisms can improve plants’ tolerance to salinity. For this purpose, a greenhouse experiment was performed understand influence various on soil biological indices wheat under different saline conditions. The factors varied in were microbial treatment (rhizobacteria, mycorrhizal fungi, endophytic fungus, control) stress (0.5, 8, 14 dS m−1). Rhizobacteria isolated from soils, but fungi prepared bank. Overall, ten isolates purified, three with promising growth-promoting properties identified using phenotypic molecular methods. selected belonged genera Pseudomonas (P. aeruginosa Ur83 P. fluorescens Ur67) Stenotrophomonas (S. maltophilia Ur52). quality found decrease increasing salinity, inoculation alleviated decline. Inoculation plant rhizobacteria (PGPRs) increased basal respiration, substrate-induced biomass carbon, acid alkaline phosphatase activities, carbon availability by 1.37, 1.27, 1.83, 3.07, 1.29, 1.11, respectively. These results show that symbiotic agricultural conditions may thus be valuable agriculture.

Mechanisms of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and mycorrhizae fungi to enhancement of plant growth under salinity stress: A review

Salinity is the major environmental factor limiting plant growth and productivity. Under salinity conditions, plant growth is affected by a number of factors such as hormonal and nutritional imbalance, ion toxicity, physiological disorders, susceptibility to diseases, etc. Plant growth under stress conditions may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth pro...
